About Sin Chocolate

Our Story I wish I could tell you that our company started with generations of old chocolate recipes handed down from my Irish ancestors, but that would be a charming, though tall tale. The truth is that it started by happenstance when a friend on the PTA asked me if I could make chocolate lollipops for a fund-raiser at the school. I must admit that my optimism got the better of me and I agreed to do it. I had no idea what I had gotten into, but after much experimentation, research, failures, and mistakes that my family was forced to eat, I finally reached a level of success. Pennsylvania pretzels, combined with caramel, chocolate, and lots of different toppings started the stampede to our door, and the company that came out of those endless requests for more and more pretzel combinations. We are now in our thirtieth year of production with the added energy and imagination of two more generations of women of our family. We continue to produce a hand made, hand dipped product, made to our customers specifications, often personalized with names or logos, in the best traditions of European and American chocolatiers.
