The SIN brand combines technology and fine art. The casting of glass sculptures, made famous in the past by Professor Libenský, has always been a very technically demanding discipline, and Jiří Šín has managed to overcome its technical barriers and take the technology a step further. The Vitrum Vivum technology was born and it allows the creation of collectible and unique objects designed by artists from various fields. The strengths of the SIN brand are craftsmanship and innovation. The unique Vitrum Vivum technology is based on a groundbreaking method of cast glass production. It employs the revolutionary process of pouring hot glass into a closed mold, enabling the creation of a faithful cast of any object. Three-dimensional glass sculptures with a realistic structure can be made in one piece, without any limitations in size and shape, for the first time in history. Currently, Jiří Šín and his team are building a studio with gallery spaces in the Central Bohemia region to present the technology to the public. The studio’s centerpiece will be the world’s largest glass casting furnace with revolutionary autonomous cooling.
