About Singapore River One
Singapore River One (SRO) was incepted in 2012 as the place manager of the Singapore River Precinct (Boat Quay, Clarke Quay and Robertson Quay). We are a not-for-profit company focused on making Singapore River the destination of choice for businesses and visitors. Our initiatives seek to create a more welcoming and vibrant river, increase footfall and enhance property values within the precinct. These are executed through the delivery of activities and events, placemaking initiatives, and marketing and promotions of the Singapore River. In 2013, we initiated the Car-Free Zone on Circular Road, allowing public spaces to be enjoyed in a safe manner by the community. We organise the St. Patrick's Street Festival at Circular Road, where businesses reclaim spaces on the street and visitors enjoy the festival atmosphere with fun activities. Our marquee event, the Singapore River Festival (SRF) seeks to showcase the river's rich history and diverse offerings. This celebration unifies the 3 quays and positions the river as a multi-faceted destination.
