SINKLAND FARMS AGRICULTURAL CENTER FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENTIAL DEVELOPMENT is a nonprofit organization management company based out of 3020 RINER RD, Christiansburg, Virginia, United States. Our mission is to cultivate opportunities for all agriculture, business and environment through land-based learning at our farm. The agriculture industry is the backbone of Southwest Virginia. It is the largest private industry in the Commonwealth providing over 70 billion in annual economic impact and over 334,000 jobs. Our goals include: 1. Exposure to agriculture. 2. Grow new farmers. 3. Entrepreneurial Development. 4. Inclusion/diverse farming programs. Currently, we host school field trips for kindergarten through third grade we host over 100 school systems serving over at 8000 children from as far away as West Virginia, North Carolina and a 200 mile radius. This program will introduce train and recruit high school and college students to assist in preparing them for college and career opportunities in agriculture in environmental sciences.
