SUSANVILLE INDIAN RANCHERIA CORPORATION - SIRCO (Section 17 Federal Chartered Corp.) The Susanville Indian Rancheria Corporation (SIRCO) was formed in 2009 by the Susanville Indian Rancheria (SIR), a federally-recognized Indian Tribal government located in Susanville, California. With a grant from the Administration for Native Americans, Social & Economic Development Strategies for Native Americans (SEDS) Governance Program, a new tribal business was established that would operate independently from the Tribal Business Council with its own Board of Directors under accountability to its owner–the Susanville Indian Rancheria. SIRCO was initially chartered as a Tribally-chartered corporation, but was converted to a Federally-chartered, Section 17 Corporation in 2010.
