About Sister Veterans Service Alliance

As the organization’s name implies, we are women veterans, or wives of veterans, with representation from each branch of the Services and sisters with a cause. Each of us have served or continue to serve in our communities, churches, or other organizations and continue to serve. Our founder, Chef Gail Hooks, has been on this mission for the past eight years, and is very passionate about sharing her culinary training and skills to help unemployed/underemployed sister veterans, military spouses and young adults in underserved communities to help them find employment, or start their own food-based business, to improve their quality of life for themselves and their families.
