About Sisters of the Order of Saint Benedict
We are a monastic community of women who seek God in our daily lives according to the Rule of Benedict. Through our ministry of prayer, work and community living, we listen and respond to the needs of the Church and the world. Saint Benedict’s Monastery is located in St. Joseph, Minn., and Saint Scholastica Convent, our retirement and assisted living facility, is located in St. Cloud, Minn. We have more than 100 employees across both campuses who serve in a variety of roles, including administration, development, food services, health care, wellness and environmental services. Employees get the opportunity to work among the religious women who live here. Our ministries include education, health care, pastoral ministry and social ministry, among many others. Our donors, volunteers and employees help make our ministries possible by giving gifts of money, time and compassion.
