About Sisu Skills

“Sisu" is the Finnish word for determination. Sisu is key to a caregiver's role in teaching and nurturing their learner. This curriculum, now available through UnitusTI, puts the power in the caregiver’s hands to teach their learner themselves, with support from a behavior analyst. The caregiver can learn to use the techniques of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to teach and positively reinforce self-help skills, communication, play skills, social skills, and more.
