SiteFocus ELAINE (English Language AI NLU Enablement) is an implementation of Symbolic AI for Natural Language. Applications implemented with ELAINE are capable of detecting fallacy, contradiction, and consistency found in Natural Language documents. ELAINE is capable of self-discovering, self-learning, and abstracting textual documents without human supervision. ELAINE uses symbolic logic to digest narratives into a spatial map comprises of connected business concepts. Connected concepts are categorized into three groups (momentum, challenge, and work-in-progress), rated by relevancy. The automatic process: 1. Extract relevant messages from source document 2. Derive abstractions from source document 3. Transform complex narrative into simple narratives 4. Deduce and discover vocabularies and relationships 5. Apply heuristics to create new concepts 6. Apply new concepts as catalyst to solve complex problems ELAINE Earnings Intelligence is an application implemented with ELAINE. It introduces an alternate method in strategic planning by turning narratives into strategic planning diagrams. It timely analyzes narratives from earnings call transcripts and 10-K/Q filings. For example, during an earning conference call, there may be multiple subjects being presented, questions asked, and answers provided by the executive team. With regards to SEC filings, executives discuss risks and issues related to internal control of a business. These narratives, once digested by ELAINE, provide fruit for thoughts to ELAINE. ELAINE extrapolates this knowledge into ideas through the process of abstraction, and presents it to management team for consideration. ELAINE Earnings Intelligence is offered as a SaaS service.
