About Skate Gals & Pals
Skate Gals & Pals is a grassroots organisation using sport as a tool for development, social innovation, and empowerment. We use skating of all forms (skateboarding, roller skating, inline skating) to encourage adults and children from marginalised communities to be more active and make use of their local environment, whilst connecting to a global prominent skate community. We deliver weekly skate sessions, creative workshops, and monthly socials. Here our beneficiaries can take part in physical activities and community building away from harassment, discrimination, marginalisation, racism, sexism and LGBTQIA+ and transphobia.
