About Skofteland Film
Skofteland Film AS is an independent TV and film production company established in Oslo, Norway, in 2006. We produce documentary films and series for both the national and international television market and film festivals. Our focus is on creating engaging, warm, and intimate stories that explore important themes. Our goal is to challenge prejudices, break down societal myths, and open minds—not by pointing fingers, but by fostering understanding and reflection. Through our films, we strive to inspire audiences to think for themselves by offering unique perspectives and introducing them to people and stories they might not otherwise encounter. Our philosophy is to combine accessibility with meaningful content and high production quality. Selected productions include: Thaifjord / Et lite stykke Thailand, season 1 and 2 (TVNorge) Harvesting the Wasteland / Lykkens grøde (NRK) Memento Moru (NRK) Shabana’s Choice / Shabanas valg (NRK) Songs From the Street / Uteliggernes sang (NRK) Morgendagens Idrettshelter, season 1 (TVNorge) The Optimists / Optimistene (Cinematic release and NRK) Team Ingebrigtsen, season 1 (NRK) Skofteland Film has also co-produced the documentaries: Last Call / I tolvte time, a co-production with Italian Zenit Arti Audiovisive and German ZDF/ARTE The Sarnos, in collaboration with the Swedish production company Anagram We currently have several productions in development.
