About Školička Šídlo
The very special eco/minimalist/mindful daycare for kids ages 1 to 6 in Ostrava. ● We show children how to enjoy activities rather than things. ● We support minimalism and turning away from consumption and materialism. ● We are huge fans of Montessori - Children learn by observing and trying out themselves. We do not interrupt them when they are focused. ● We practice a respectful approach to children. ● We work with the emotional intelligence of children, teach them to recognize their emotions and talk about them. ● We create a design environment that does not disturb children and is not stuffed with toys so that children can focus, still having room for imagination. ● We have a great team, we understand each other and the children perceive the harmony. By doing so, we believe we set them a good example. ● Instead of batteries, things in the schoolhouse are moved by child's energy. ● We spend as much time out as possible, trying to make children outdoors normal.
