Skyler Man is a fine jewelry brand that is designed in Brooklyn and handcrafted in NYC and was launched in an effort to create beautiful, timeless pieces with an eco-responsible footprint. Our pieces are meant to evoke hauntingly beautiful images while juxtaposed against raw, organic materials. Every aspect of our jewelry is labored over, each stone is hand-selected, each design is conceptualized as an individual piece of art. Alina Skyler, a native New Yorker, started designing her collection as early as 2009, using precious materials in unexpected ways to create pieces that were covetable but that would also last forever. She wanted to design a jewelry line that was enduring, both in style and investment, and not just an ephemeral, seasonal splurge. Her collection is heavily influenced by flora, fauna and the natural world; sentiments of bygone eras; and pieces that are directly created from vintage elements; all with a unique, modern twist. We believe in moving towards sustainability and are committed to localized production. Our stones are ethically sourced and almost all of the gold and silver we use is recycled. Our message is beauty through sustainability and we promote this concept whenever we can; the mannequins we use are vintage, our packaging is recycled and recyclable, even our labels and stamps are hand-made by local talent.
