Welcome to Skystart ! We’re a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Cerritos, California. We're dedicated to eliminating financial barriers for students through campus entrepreneurship. We partner with universities to provide resources, mentorship, and a structured pathway for students to start and grow side hustles that generate income and can support their tuition. Our goal is to empower students with financial literacy and business skills that set them up for success in today’s economy. Why We Exist Eliminate Financial Barriers: As per studies, 79% of students delay graduation due to financial difficulties. We’re here to break down these barriers through the spirit of entrepreneurship and address it at the roots. Supporting Academic Partners By tackling financial obstacles, Skystart helps increase graduation rates by tackling financial obstacles and improving career mobility for students- ensuring they are prepared for success beyond college. Peer Led Mentorship: Studies show that students learning from peers have higher success rates, as they relate better to shared experiences and real-world challenges. Our peer-led mentorship model ensures that some of the student ambassadors help guide the batch, creating a continuous cycle of knowledge-sharing, and stronger business outcomes.
