SLATER FAMILY NETWORK FOUNDATION INC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit family center serving residents of the Bangor Area School District, Pennsylvania. Our services include case management, resources and referrals, rent assistance*, on-site mental health counseling*, utility payments*, on site emergency food pantry, free clothing closet full of gently used clothing, back pack buddies weekend meal program for students, school supplies, holiday gift program and holiday meal baskets, paperwork assistance, faxing and so much more. (*Application and must meet qualifications) We are housed on the campus of the Bangor school district, but you do not need to have a child in school to use our services. Must be a BASD resident. Slater Family Network Foundation is proud to partner with: -The Bangor Area School District -The United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley -Second Harvest Food Bank -Two Rivers Health and Wellness Foundation -Northampton County -Countless local businesses, organizations and community members. Our fundraising platforms include our annual online silent auction, and in the past have held a motorcycle poker run and a craft vendor bazaar. Future fundraising plans include a 5K fun run and local business fundraiser nights. Ideas welcome! Donations of gently used children’s clothing, food, cleaning supplies, new socks and underwear can be dropped during our regular business hours.
