About Sligo Surf Experience

Sligo Surf Experience is my vehicle for sharing my passion for the ocean with the world. I am a professional bodyboarder from Sligo who offers the best surf experiences for youths, adults, families and groups along Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way at Strandhill Beach. Myself and my team deliver awesome ocean adventures in a fun, structured and safe environment. It has been over twenty years since an initial surf experience in Strandhill changed my life and spiraled into a lifelong adventure. My passion lead me around the globe but I ended up back under the shadow of Knocknarea in my favourite place in the world, County Sligo. Over the last twenty years, I have learned many skills, competed at the highest level, achieved dreams, faced my fears, made countless friends, met my heroes and had many awesome adventures. In the process, I also learned to respect the ocean, the planet and its people as much as I am able. In 2018, I created Sligo Surf Experience so I can use my unique skill set to inspire people to become more ocean orientated and to help visitors discover why the Surf Coast of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way in Sligo is world famous.
