About SLS Ambassadors

SLS Ambassadors invites international students to immersive English programs at our residential centers across iconic American cities. Our mission is to provide students with a truly international environment where they can develop and enhance their English skills, prepare them for university experience diverse cultures, & visit some of the most famous landmarks in the world. Our task-based learning approach strengthens English communication skills through engaging lessons that focus on real-world topics and tasks. To create a fully immersive environment, students are required to use English exclusively in the classroom. Lessons are interactive and dynamic, incorporating both individual and group projects that encourage teamwork, leadership, and digital research skills. Upon arrival, each student takes a placement test based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) to ensure they are placed in the appropriate class. Our small classes are led by highly qualified, CELTA (or equivalent) certified teachers who have undergone thorough background checks and training in working with minors. Students receive 15 hours of English language instruction per week and are awarded certificates upon successful completion of their coursework, celebrated in a graduation ceremony. Outside the classroom, students immerse themselves in the life and culture of their host city. In New York, for example, they practice English in authentic settings, exploring the city like true New Yorkers. Our programs also feature rich excursion experiences, taking students to iconic landmarks, museums, and cultural attractions. On-site activities such as movie nights, dance parties, and sports competitions further enhance the social and cultural aspects of the program, fostering an inclusive and engaging atmosphere. Whether attending for 7 or 14 days, students enjoy premium accommodations with en-suite rooms and top-tier amenities, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
