About Smak av Italia

It was November 2008 when Smak av Italia joined the first Christmas market in Sætre, on the western bank of the Inner Oslofjord in Asker Kommune. Since then our journey has never stopped… My mission? Offer Norway the widest range of high-quality Italian food products, at the best price, thanks to a direct relationship between local farmers and artisan producers. But that’s not all. I’ve always believed that Italian food is not only about high-quality products. Italian food is a lifestyle made of authenticity, hospitality, and enthusiasm for life’s little pleasures. That`s why you are always welcome to taste our products in our stores today. It’s been 11 years, we all grew up, and the roots of Smak av Italia remain firmly planted in the Norwegian soil. Today, with 4 stores in Oslo Region (plus a new store that will open its doors in Oslo Lillo Gård next July) and our Online Shop that delivers our products everywhere in Norway, Smak av Italia has become my extended family. Twenty-four people who work together every day with the vision to demonstrate that high-quality Italian products can be made available to everyone in Norway. Smak av Italia is today much more than an Italian grocery retail chain. It's an informal and trustworthy Italian home, where eyes shine to help people in Norway live, love, and eat the Italian way.
