The Small Business Wakeup Call is a twice-weekly podcast that provides valuable tips and get small business owners thinking and acting in ways they hadn’t about their business that will drive more success. The hard-hitting guidance and wisdom of Lonnie Sciambi, “The Entrepreneur’s Yoda,” and Stan Simkins, “The Family Biz Doc,” is based on their collective experience with their own businesses and their broad-based client business experiences. No lectures, no cookie cutter solutions, but war stories that illustrate takeaways that are invaluable and applicable to most businesses. They guarantee that you will learn things you didn’t know, make you laugh about things you can relate to, and maybe even make you uncomfortable a time or two. The second service, The Small Business Virtual Roundtables provides a unique cost-effective model for the “mastermind/roundtable,” that is totally virtual and without geographic limitations. It uses their unique experience and expertise to help small business owners and family businesses drive growth and value. It’s focused on small business owners and key members of family businesses with revenues from $500K to $20mm, with at least three employees, that have been in business for at least three years, in any industry sector or geographic area. Roundtables can be as small as six members, the minimum to start with, or as large as 15, the maximum, ensuring that all members’ issues are addressed. Meetings are held monthly, last for 90 minutes (starting times to be determined based upon the time zones of members). In addition, members have the option of a 30-minute one-on-one session with a facilitator on their specific issues. Meetings are conducted virtually, via Zoom, and are facilitated by experienced consultants who have had substantial experience as business owners and/or advisors to small businesses.
