About Small Talk Children's Advocacy Center
Small Talk is a nationally accredited Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) where child survivors of abuse are interviewed and offered therapy at no cost. Our goal is to lead our communities in addressing and preventing the physical and sexual abuse of children. We are supported by all Ingham and Eaton County law enforcement agencies, Ingham and Eaton County Prosecutor's Offices, Sparrow Hospital and Ingham and Eaton County Children's Protective Services. We work together to investigate abuse, help children heal, and hold offenders accountable. Small Talk is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation run by a Board of Directors and Executive Director Alex Brace. Our operational budget is sustained through grants and donations. Small Talk relies on the generous donations of corporations, businesses and individuals. Your donation supports these children who have the courage to speak and gives them the opportunity to heal.
