About Small Town Music Blog

Small Town Music Media (STM) started as a blog in November of 2010 when the founder was invited to join the "seerowers" of Die 6de MK Avontoer team. Since then STM has been writing about the music scene in and around the Lowveld and even going beyond the borders of South Africa. STMB is a growing brand and has become the go-to person with regard to live music in the Lowveld, which we consider an honour. Our services include the following: Event marketing, Event photography, Events management, Band bookings, Band/DJ hosting, Social media management (for entertainers and venues) and of course Reviews Some of the events we’ve been involved with include Woodcrock 11, Woodcrock 12, The Benefit of Mr K, Save The Strat, Halloween at The Pub 2016, WONDERboom live in Nelspruit and much more. We try to keep as updated as possible with the ever-changing South African music scene and have found what works in the Lowveld regarding markets and fans. Our weekly calendar on the STM What’s Up group has grown in popularity and used by fellow media names, bands/musicians, venues and the public.
