About Smallops

🟩 At Smallops, we seek innovative solutions to address climate change through nanotechnology. We have developed a technology for the transformation and valorization of olive oil residues (olive pomace and vegetable water) into biogas and zero-valent iron nanoparticles encased in a carbon matrix (OPS). Hemos desarrollado una tecnología para la transformación y valorización de los residuos oleícolas (alperujo y alpechín) en biogás y nanopartículas de hierro cero valente envueltas en una matriz de carbono (OPS) con múltiples aplicaciones de alto valor añadido como la mejora de los procesos de digestión anaerobia, la mejora del tratamiento de aguas, aplicación agronómica como bioestimulante y biorremediador o fabricación de electrodos para pilas de combustible aplicable a la generación de hidrógeno, entre otras.
