Smart Merchants are an Electrical and Security Supplier based in Hertford Herts. The company was formed by Richard Marsh and Mark Watts in 2010 to offer superb service to our Customers. Mission To establish a business that offers unrivalled service and value for money to its customers Description After a combined period of 50+ years (now that is scary) working for some of the biggest and best names in the Electrical Industry Richard Marsh and Mark Watts decided they had something to offer local Electricians and users of Electrical products and set up Smart Merchants Ltd. With their knowledge of the Electrical Industry and a keen eye on new technology they are always on the look out for new products for their Customers establishing added value for the Contractor and ultimately value for money for the end client. Smart Merchants are proactively looking for new opportunities that creates synergy within the business. In 2011 they employed James Sibthorpe to head up their Security and CCTV division. Adding Security, Access Control and CCTV creates the type of Synergy they are looking for and the business has gone from strength to strength. In 2013 the Smart Merchants Website will go live. The site is a full shopping portal and will allow our Customers to place orders online, at their agreed terms, automatically creating the paperwork for the delivery to take place. The Website will create new opportunities for Smart Merchants as they will now be in a position to supply goods nationally and it will enhance our customers experience when dealing with us.
