We specialise in creating solutions that allow the use of silver and copper nanoparticles in many industrial sectors. Our products are created by qualified specialists working with proprietary technologies. A key challenge that the Company aims to address is the fight against pathogen resistance. The overuse of antibiotics in medical treatment and their use in feed additives, results in a significant increase in their concentration in the environment. Our SILVECO products for use in the animal industry, which contain silver nanocomplexes, contribute to blocking many vital functions of microorganisms, leading to their death. Unlike antibiotics, silver nanoparticles are safe, non-toxic as they do not accumulate in the body. They destroy pathogens and their new mutations, which antibiotics cannot do. With high-end, advanced technical equipment at our disposal, such as an electrolyser or a scanning microscope, we have the opportunity to develop innovative process and product technologies. In addition, for external companies seeking innovative solutions, we provide services in the area of developing methodologies for the implementation of research work and technical consultancy, enabling optimum selection of both product manufacturing technologies and their physical and chemical parameters. In the face of the problems that the Polish economy is facing: the increasing price of raw materials, foreign expansion, excessive energy consumption or EU regulations, the SNT is meeting them with its activities. In 2015, we became full members of the Silesian Nano Cluster, which brings together the activities of private entrepreneurs, scientific institutions, organisations. The company, Smart Nanotechnologies, belongs to the Alventa Invest Group, which operates on the Polish and foreign markets. The leading area of SNT's activity is research and production of chemical products with specialised use and unique properties.
