About Smile To The Future

Smile To The Future is a non-profit organization based in Maastricht and Brussels. We aspire to create an environment where young people can flourish and express their talents, mainly within the framework of national and international projects. Our objective is to contribute to social improvement by stimulating inter-generational and international knowledge exchanges. All our projects are built on three core values: the willingness to learn, commitment and optimism. We are active in different areas, such as poverty reduction, community building and social economy. Through our efforts, we hope to help to eliminate feelings of helplessness and despair, while encouraging people to become actively involved in projects based on the principles of social economy and sustainability. To achieve a high level of awareness among young people around global development issues, Smile To The Future organizes travel-based projects abroad. The goal of these travel-based projects is to implement micro initiatives in areas where people lack the access to basic needs. Each project revolves around community work, such as the distribution of food packages, school projects, improvement of living conditions, and more.
