Smiso OÜ was founded in 1998. We are an international contractor providing various services in the area of ships repair and modernization, as well as of large metal structures production. Smiso Ltd also possesses many years of experience as a contractor in the following areas: ✷ Shipbuilding ✷ Ship repair ✷ Ship conversion (modernization) ✷ Production of small and large metal structures for mechanical engineering and shipbuilding industries ✷ Mechanical Engineering ✷ Project Management The goal of our Company is to quickly integrate into the quality system of production and technological processes of the Customer, providing them with high-quality and timely service. Proprietary service stations Our company is employing only highly qualified specialists (foremen and operation supervisors, technologists, working personnel: welders, including pipe welders, assemblers, mechanics and pipe installers), who possess extensive operations experience and relevant qualifications. Smiso OÜ welders qualification complies with the EN287-1 (2011) standard, which is confirmed by the relevant certificates (Lloyd’s Register, Bureau Veritas and DNV) in regard to various types of welding operations (111, 141, 135 and 136 BW/FW processes, the rest on request ). Our employees are constantly undergoing advanced training courses; and that is always confirmed by the relevant certificates. Our entire personnel possess relevant documents and work permits covering both in the European Union and foreign countries.
