About Smith & Brenson

Established in 2006, we are proud to deliver high-quality construction, repair, refurbishment and remodelling projects to a diverse range of prestigious clients in the public and private sectors, to include educational establishments and local authorities. Much of our work is in the insurance networking field, where over the years we have built up long-standing and trusted working relationships with a number of key partners on projects of varying scope and value from small impact to major loss. Led by two dedicated and hands-on directors, they are supported by a cohesive in-house management team utilising the following professions and skills: building and quantity surveying, construction project management and health and safety. Our on-site capabilities include general building work/maintenance, ground works, brick/block works, roof works, plastering/rendering, carpentry, plumbing and painting/decorating. We use trusted trade partners for specialist services such as electrical works, M&E, scaffolding and asbestos management, amongst others. We take our health and safety and CDM 2015 Principal Contractor/Contractor responsibilities very seriously, holding the industry-recognised SafeContractor SSIP accreditation in recognition of our robust health, safety, financial, environmental and ethical practices, and have a dedicated health and safety manager to oversee organisational and site safety. All employees undergo Enhanced DBS checks as standard, in light of the works we regularly undertake in the social housing and education sectors. Social value is also an integral aspect of our company ethos.
