Operating from a factory & office space of 40,000 sq feet near Chelmsford the product portfolio is designed & manufactured in our specialist facilities. Quality is core to the Smith’s ethos, running throughout the business from product design, function & manufacturing to customer service. With management systems approved to ISO9001, our approach is centred on meeting and exceeding customers’ expectations, with continuous improvement on integral focus. Smith’s has an extensive range of light commercial heating products including the Caspian fan convection heater range, Air Curtains, Trench Heaters and Radiant Panels. These products offer solutions for a wide range of applications from schools, hospitals, retail, hospitality, places of worship & sports halls. Smith's also has a market leading range of domestic heating products aimed at the kitchen market. Their Space Saver plinth heater range is ideal for new-builds & kitchen refurbishments. With the Hydroflame product Smith’s have an ideal product for the social housing marketplace too. Our products are supported by a 5-year parts and labour guarantee. Smith’s has significant shares of both the North American & European markets as well as being the UK’s market leader. The US-based Swan Group recently increased its shareholding to fully own Smith's EP UK, and MD Gary Haynes is driving an exciting period of growth and development in terms of product portfolio, lean manufacturing & commercial strategies in the UK, Europe & North America. Over the past 12 months Smith’s has experienced significant growth, driven largely by new products & improvements in existing products.
