Smooth Transitions® of Central Ohio is one of approximately 50 Smooth Transitions® locations across the US, Canada and New Zealand. Simply put we help seniors and others in need with the moving process. Some have called us the wedding planners of moving. Our typical clients are persons over 65 moving to independent living, assisted living and other retirement communities. These moves can be motivated by a desire to downsize, an unexpected illness or injury, or a death of a spouse to name a few. Often the client is moving from a home of 30 or more years and the task can be overwhelming. We take care of all the details from start to finish. From scoping the project, to assisting the client in designing the setup of their new home, to packing, being there on move day, unpacking and setting up new home, recommending and working with vendors, arranging for donation pickup, sale of goods and anything else the client may need or want. We can do as much or as little as is desired. We are dedicated to maintaining our client’s dignity and privacy while performing the work in a professional and efficient manner. As neutral parties with a wealth of resources we can make a difficult transition less stressful and much simpler for our clients. While our typical clients are seniors we welcome anyone whose life will be easier through the use of our services. In addition, to move management we provide organization/downsizing services as well as estate dispersal.
