Here at SNØ the world that we have created is filled with inspiring, individual, beautifully made pieces of original furniture. We love the contrast of light and dark so choose the rich depth of walnut together with the pure pale airiness of maple & birch as our principle materials. (We love the tactile smoothness of these gorgeous woods and endeavour to incorporate this into every piece we build.) At the same time we love to explore the use of different materials, textures & colours to give the SNO pieces a distinctive look & character. SNØ works with a small team of young designers who have trained and worked throughout Europe. Our passion & inspirations are many and our influences have been absorbed from many countries. The appealing, cool, simplicity of Scandinavia - high gloss white, maple, birch, clean lines, and clever practicality. The sensual sophistication of Italy - contemporary designs, rich walnut, a playful twist, strong bold lines and the classic beauty of France- avant garde modernity, comfortable familiarity. Our workshop is in the beautiful countryside of Kent and each piece of SNØ ØRIGINAL FURNITURE is lovingly and carefully built here by our skilled team of craftsmen who pride themselves on achieving the highest standard of workmanship where every detail & finish matters. In addition to our own ranges SNØ offers a bespoke design service to tailor make any piece of furniture to suit your individual needs. SNØ seeks to challenge and reinvent items of furniture that we all use.
