About Soapimi
At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, we switched from liquid soap to soap bars in our house, mainly due to availability, but also in an attempt to make just one small difference to the planet. It got me thinking... can I make my own? After many weeks of research and getting to grips with all the legalities of venturing into the cosmetics industry...Soapimi was born! As my business has grown, so has the range of shapes and sizes I offer. They are perfect for gifts, guest soaps, wedding favours, travel or even just something to brighten your soap dish. I am also now a proud member of the Guild of Craft Soap & Toiletry Makers. The GCSTM is a peer support network, whose members are required to prove that they hold product safety assessments for their products. It means that when you make a purchase from me, you are safe in the knowledge that my recipe formulations have been safety assessed and approved for sale by a chartered chemist. Please note that my products have been assessed for the general population and are suitable for anyone aged 3 or over. For a small business, I have worked hard to find great eco-friendly 'green' credentials. I wanted to be as kind to our planet as possible, which is why the ingredients and packaging have been carefully selected. All soaps in the Soapimi range are fragranced with pure essential oils and coloured using ethically sourced natural mica powder. Each soap is individually wrapped in a compostable transparent film , which is made from wood pulp. The packing beans used to protect your order while it travels to you, are made from maize starch and are also compostable. Finally, the brown outer box and Soapimi logo sticker are fully recyclable.
