Back in 2001, when I was a notary signing agent I was not satisfied with just being one notary signing agent in a sea of many. I wanted to be THE signing agent that could and would do what ever it took to get the job done. Driving often up to 500 miles a day from the Central Coast of California to San Diego, Ca . If I needed to fly to San Francisco because a client wanted me to hold the hand of a worried borrower, I was on the plane. After 2 years of this, I wanted more...I knew I could be more help to my clients. I wanted every file they had on their desks. I wanted to handle every state. So with the help of many good people and many good webs sites, and a work ethic that is like no other, this is what I did. During the real estate melt down, it was SoCal Signing Co. located in Southern California who was debt free, and continued to survive and continue to grow. SoCal Signing Co, Inc. is a nationwide signing agency. We have 8 employees, three offices. Our understanding of laws from state to state had grown, we continue to keep ahead of the market, understanding how purchase and refi business differs. We are constantly making sure we are compliant with federal privacy laws and needs.
