About SOCAR Midstream Gas Operations
SOCAR Midstream Gas Operations LLC (SMGO), is a newly established entity of SOCAR, tasked to manage all midstream gas-related operations. SMGO spun off from SOCAR Midstream Operations (SMO), enabling both SMO and SMGO to operate autonomously and focus on their respective strategic goals, representing a significant step in organizational evolution, creating a solid foundation for enhanced operational focus, strategic clarity, and future growth for both entities. SMGO is the technical and commercial operator of the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP) across Azerbaijan and Georgia, and represents SOCAR`s interests in the Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP), Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), and SCP Projects. Aligned with SOCAR`s operating model, SMGO responsibilities will be extended to manage/ oversee/ operate all midstream gas infrastructure (including all gas pipelines as well as gas storage facilities) of SOCAR in Azerbaijan and abroad.
