Soccer in the Sand Nationwide Series is a beach soccer tournament run for youth, adults and professional levels. Soccer in the Sand currently holds 14 tournaments across the U.S. with over 1,500 teams participating in 2018. Soccer in the Sand was founded in 2005 with its first tournament being held in San Diego, California. Soccer in the Sand creates an environment for players, families and friends to come together and experience a fun weekend through their common love of soccer. The untraditional surface of sand challenges all levels of players in order to promote the creative side of soccer. Soccer in the Sand is a perfect way to spend a weekend on the beach while taking a break from the traditional grass tournaments.
