Small side soccer is played with teams of 5, 6 or 7 a side and is now the most popular format of the beautiful game in the UK. Historically small side soccer has typically involved a group of mates having a game of five a side down the local sports hall, but now with the increasing number of improved facilities and professional league organisers the game has become more and more advanced.
