About Social Founders

Our purpose: We believe in the power of social impact founders to change lives, communities and our world for the better. We want to support social impact founders along all stages of your founder journey. We work with you to help you find the skills, connections, resilience, resources and strategies to realise your vision, and to alleviate those times when you might feel alone as a founder. Our community: We are a 2000-strong and growing global network of catalysts, change-makers and social entrepreneurs - founders of social enterprises, charities, community groups and impact media platforms across localities, countries and continents. The social founders in our network come from a mix of backgrounds, ages, experience and interests - we share in common our founder stories, passion and experiences - the good and the bad, the successes and failures, the laughter and the tears. What we do: - We run networking events and workshops both in-person and online to share knowledge and skills, to build connection and community, and to celebrate and promote each other. - We deliver mentorship programmes connecting social founders at all stages with experienced and values-aligned members within our own network and externally. - We share founder stories and news through our newsletters, social media, podcasts and media partners. - We support ecosystem building by embedding our founder communities into interconnected networks of infrastructure organisations, key stakeholders and local governments.
