About Social Hour Marketing
I’m over the way businesses and brands handle social. Social media has been around for the past 10+ years, yet brands are still spending countless hours creating the same boring strategy and content that everyone else is creating. Honestly, I’m just over it. Every business is unique in its own way. Think about your business, and the little moments it has. Ask yourself: What makes you want to go back to work every day? Is it the heart-warming growth stories of your employees? Or the funny bloopers of you all trying to make a bourbon cocktail recipe? What about that quote from a customer that has come back to your store for 20+ years? Whatever it is, there are stories that are specific to your business and your business only, and it’s my job to help you find the ones you truly care about, and intentionally share them on social. I’ve spent the past few years in social media marketing. I’ve led social strategies for top clients like Maker’s Mark (yeah, that bourbon), as well as mom-and-pop stores (my family’s business Thomas Car Wash, is my favorite, but I’m probably a little biased), and about everything in-between. Seriously, from B2B, B2C, B2-whatever, I’ve had my hand in just about everything. I’ve worked in agencies, in-house, corporate, contract and I even consulted for the KY government on social media policy (that was fun). I’ve decided it’s just time to work with people, and not for them. So, I’m not here to pitch you with buzzwords, or use fancy decks to make you confused. I’m here to work with you to help you out. It’s my job to look at all the data, pull insights, monitor and outline strategies. It’s also my job to make sure you understand it. That’s what I’m promising you. Enough with the BS…let’s just get social.
