About Social Work First
Social Work First are a newly formed agency with one goal in mind, to put social workers first. The directors of SWF have extensive experience of recruiting within social care and are looking to break the mould of agencies within the sector. SWF are looking to engage with social workers across the country and build a community that promotes the successes and welfare of social workers in the UK. With demand increasing year on year for experienced social workers, we have seen the toll this has taken on the workforce and are acutely aware of how SWs are often overlooked and undervalued. Social Work First have a goal of bringing social workers back into the spotlight and highlighting the outstanding work they do on a day-to-day basis, promoting workers welfare and having honest conversations around the daily issues and concerns they face. We hope that our website and social media presence will allow the social care workforce to engage with us and discuss relevant topics.
