We are a multi-award-winning, student-led organization dedicated to empowering the Hispanic community in STEM. Our Mission & Vision Our chapter is driven by the national SHPE mission to change lives by empowering the Hispanic community to realize its fullest potential and to impact the world through STEM awareness, access, support, and development. Our vision is a world where Hispanics are highly valued and influential as the leading innovators, scientists, mathematicians, and engineers. A Legacy of Excellence Our chapter's commitment to our members and community has been nationally recognized. We are proud to be a SHPE Gold Chapter Award winner for 5 consecutive years and a four-time winner of the National Outstanding Large Chapter of the Year award (2019-2023). What We Do We provide holistic development opportunities for our members, including: Professional Growth: Resume workshops, mock interviews, and corporate-sponsored networking events. Technical Skills: Hands-on projects for Engineering Open House (EOH), robotics competitions, and technical workshops. Community Outreach: Mentoring K-12 students through impactful programs like Noche de Ciencias and our SHPE Jr. Chapter.
