About Sodecon
Sodecon has started out of a cooperation of 2 experienced environmental engineers with a passion for solving complex soil and groundwater problems. During their previous carrier as environmental consultant, they saw that different standard practices for remediation of contaminated soil did not lead to the desired results with reasonable effort. From that experience, Sodecon was founded in order to find better solutions for complex soil problems. Based on a strong know-how of in situ remediation and injection techniques in particular and supported by their passion for R&D, solutions were found for different contaminated sites that were previously considered as not to be remediated. For example, an innovative and meanwhile patented injection technology (Spin®) was developed by which it is possible to inject efficiently in heterogeneous and low permeability soils. Because of its success, a spin-off has been created for this technology (Injectis). Dependent of the site and pollutant characteristics, the most suitable conventional injection and remediation technologies are applied. Besides selection of the most efficient remediation technology, several innovative in situ solutions were developed for contaminations with BTEX, chlorinated solvents and heavy metals. By determining a tailor-made approach for every site, success was achieved for different difficult-to-remediate sites. In addition, we spend a large part of our time in the investigation of new, more sustainable solutions for environmental problems. In short, Sodecon is equal to custom-made solutions, high quality and efficient (in situ) remediation.
