About Sofa To Saddle
A cycling club with a difference. Sofa to Saddle is aimed at nervous and novice riders, and has a very much a social group. First launched in 2016, and operating from the location of West Malling Cycles, there are now more than 140 registered members, with over 40 now riding regularly. In 2018, StS launched a Ride Leader training programme, with intention of setting up more locations, to extend its reach. Paid members get a number of benefits, including free third party liability insurance, through Cycling UK, as well as a range of discounts from both online and high street retailers.
