SOFTER is a network and community committed to rewriting the narrative that tech is ‘hard’. Through community-building, aesthetic practices and feminist strategies we inspire and empower women and gender minorities to practise, discuss and shape the digital industry, with the vision of eliminating the gender gap and creating more diversity within the digital industry. Our practices are rooted in softness as a value and a strength and are manifested through various formats in the physical space, the digital sphere and the many realms in-between. SOFTER was founded in 2020 by Nicole Jonasson and Ida Lissner, and has since then, with the help and support from our wonderful community, facilitated conferences, workshops, talks, summer schools and residencies in Denmark, online and latest in London and soon everywhere!
