SOFTWARE FACTORY - YOUR PARTNER FOR DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION Software Factory was established as a spin-off of the institute for mechanical engineering of Munich's technical university (TUM) in 1992. In 1998, ITQ was founded as Software Factory's spin-off, which is focused on consulting ever since. Today ITQ and Software Factory are employers for more than 100 experts in software development. This does not only include computer scientists but also physicists, mathematicans and mechanical engineers. As Software Factory has been partnering with PTC since 1994, the main focus of SF's software development is on the PTC software solutions PTC creo (Pro/ENGINEER), PTC Integrity, PTC Windchill and PTC's IoT platform ThingWorx. Software Factory's Headquarters are located in Garching near Munich today. Garching's Business Campus offers various restaurants shops and recreational facilities as well as great infrastructure. Both, Munich's city center (U6 subway line, 5 minutes walk from Software Factory) and Munich Airport (Highway A9/A92) are less than 30 minutes away.
