Software 4 Dentists are market leaders in developing world class dental software applications. Our flagship product is called Bridge-IT, a complete dental management system designed to cater for the needs of any modern private or NHS practice. Our History The company (registered as Fusion Software (UK) Ltd) was formed over 15 years ago, at first creating bespoke applications for various large companies such as Johnson Matthey, Sainsbury’s, Burberry’s etc, however around 10 years ago we started developing dentistry software as it was made evident there was an opening in the market for a modern, fairly priced dental application. We therefore spent 2 years in a development phase utilizing the aid of various dental professionals and launched Bridge-IT in 2004. Since then we have gone from strength to strength, and our focus is now entirely on the dental industry, so much so that we decided to form a separate division called Software 4 Dentists in 2011. What technology do we use? We develop applications for Microsoft Windows using Microsoft’s Visual Studio (VB.NET). As a back end database we use PostgreSQL which is an open source, yet incredibly robust and powerful client/server database rivalling Microsoft SQL Server in terms of speed, security and performance.
