About Soilmechanics

We are a team of geotechnical engineers with a head office near Munich, Germany, and further offices in the United States, Spain, and Hong Kong. Members of Soilmechanics carry partial ownership of Betterground Group, which since the spinoff of its engineering arm through Soilmechanics reduced its services to equipment sales, rental, and repair. As a spinoff from Betterground Group, we continue Betterground’s engineering activities and expand them to a wider scope. This history is the reason all our staff has extensive experience working for ground improvement specialty contractors, and therefore we can support our clients not only with first-class engineering design but also with constructability evaluations, tender document optimization, on-site quality control planning and supervision, and all other aspects of the works that are best learned from the perspective of a contractor engineer.
