With our range of about 60 varieties, we offer potatoes for every intended purpose and to meet nearly every taste. Our portfolio also includes varieties for almost every climate zone, along with varieties suitable for organic farming. In addition to breeding and distribution, we provide expert advice on the selection of varieties and the growing of potatoes. We also take care of the organization and handling of international logistics. With research, modern varietal maintenance and our close, long-term collaboration with seed growers, we ensure the high standard of our varieties and seed potatoes. Continuous quality management is an integral part of our seed stock production. Throughout our history, we have always pursued the goal of breeding resistant, high-yielding varieties and supplying high-quality seed stock. Our tradition stretches back to 1905, and we are as committed today as we always have been. Solana is headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, but the Solana group has subsidiary companies in eight different countries, which produce and market seed potatoes and are partially involved in breeding.
