About SolHealth

SolHEALTH is a non-political, US tax exempt 501(c)(3) public charity organization (EIN # 81-2754148) that unites human, financial and technological resources proven to maintain health and prevent illnesses within discrete populations. Thus, SolHEALTH combines public health and medical services into a single entity, using population-appropriate education and clinical interventions to maximize individual and population health. Examples of discrete populations include schools, universities, social clubs, professional associations, nursing homes, residential compounds, businesses, unions, and geographic entities (districts, counties, provinces, states, and countries). The SolHEALTH Mission: Promoting health and preventing disease, one population at a time. SolHEALTH assists organizations to implement services using best evidence-based modalities that promote health and prevent disease. As populations vary, so must the modalities employed to address their needs. But, the strategies all share a common commitment to primary, secondary and tertiary prevention. All organizations SolHEALTH assists agree to openly and freely share their health promotion and disease prevention experiences with other organizations seeking to emulate or build upon their successes. SolHEALTH is led by David Rutstein, MD, MPH, a senior health executive, public health expert and clinician who has created and led innovative clinical, administrative, management and executive level teams and establishments. A retired Rear Admiral in the US Public Health Service, Dr. Rutstein has repeatedly succeeded in addressing the critical needs of diverse organizations and populations, domestically and internationally.
