About Solid Ground Therapy and Mediation

Solid Ground is a team of four experienced professionals whose aim is to provide dynamic and holistic services. We have 4 main divisions: Mediation, Training, Youth Talk and Wellness. Our offerings include counselling, family and divorce mediation services, school and youth programmes, parenting workshops, and a broad range of professional talks, webinars and training courses. Between us we have over 60 years of experience in this work. Youth Talk: We are everything youth. Through school workshops, individual therapy, parent talks and courses and group work, our aim is to get talking about the issues that our youth face on a daily basis. Topics we cover include: sexuality education, puberty education, anxiety and depression, stress management, life skills, emotional intelligence, and parenting skills for toddlers and teens. Mediation: Our process offers a more cost-effective and generally quicker way of resolving issues relating to co-parenting, the division of assets and maintenance matters. Parties are able to keep control of the process. All sessions are confidential, and entirely without prejudice (off the record). Our co-mediation model offers a holistic approach to achieving a mutually beneficial solution. Training: A broad range of trainings, workshops, talks and webinars: Divorce and Family Mediation Training; Advanced Legal Training for Mediators; Advanced Psychology Training for Mediators; Trauma Counselling Skills; Bereavement; Autogenic Training; Stress reduction workshops through integrated mind-body techniques; Having the Talk (a workshop for parents). Wellness: In order to achieve optimal wellness the individual’s well-being on an integrated and holistic level should be considered. A number of therapies are offered including counselling and various evidence-based methods of alleviationg both historical and present day traumas/life issues. Meditation and mindfulness based stress reduction therapies that focus on bodymind well being.
