SOLIDARNA Foundation for Human Rights and Solidarity creates new opportunities for all citizens to act in solidarity, in our common effort to protect human rights and meet fundamental human needs, reduce inequalities and expand freedoms in all spheres of society. SOLIDARNA acts as a reliable partner to civil society actors, socially responsible business community and donors for social development, serving as a catalyst for resource mobilization, promoter of solidarity and social support for autonomous initiatives for the protection of human rights in Croatia and throughout Europe. How SOLIDARNA works? a) Supports citizens as direct beneficiaries through various thematic funds b) Supports civil society organizations through granting, re-granting, and capacity-building programs (Fund Operator for EEA/Norway Grants; Fund Operator for EU Commissions CERV) c) Supports businesses in their ESG-related activities as external consultants d) Cooperates with public sector institutions in the development of strategies, laws, and policies The socially responsible business community has recognized Solidarna as a reliable partner in as many as 16 countries around the world, and more than 750 companies have donated to us. The solidarity and philanthropy of citizens, from as many as 36 countries of the world, is immeasurable in numbers. Thank you to each of the tens of thousands of individual donors. The SOLIDARNA Foundation is the winner of several awards, including: European Citizen 2022 Award for work through Fund 5.5 (EU Parliament), Visionary of the Year 2022 in the society category (T-portal), Diana Budisavljević Award for humanitarian work after the earthquake (Serbian National Council) and IPRA AWARD 2019 – PR award for the #spasime fund campaign.
