About Solihull Alternative Provision Multi Academy Trust
Solihull Alternative Provision Multi Academy Trust (SAPMAT) is dedicated to transforming lives through innovative, inclusive, and high-quality education. As a multi-academy trust specialising in alternative provision across three academies and six sites, we provide tailored pathways and support for young people, empowering them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. Our mission is rooted in creating safe, nurturing, and aspirational environments where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, moving on to a positive destination that’s right for them…every time! By working closely with referring schools, families, and communities, SAPMAT delivers impactful solutions that make a real difference. We began with just 30 students in Solihull Academy back in April 2018 and have now grown to become a Multi Academy Trust helping over 400 students on their way to a better future. Nationally, between 50% and 67% of children referred to alternative provision schools will be NEET (young people not in education, employment or training) within three months of leaving school. As a Trust our NEET percentage last year was 0%! Our Trust also achieved three times the national average (as a percentage) of AP students achieving a 4 or higher in both English and Maths.
